Mandø has been Dark Sky Certified

It is well known that Mandø is one of the darkest places in Denmark and you can see the stars very clearly on the small island in the Wadden Sea.

Now Mandø has also received its official Dark Sky Certificate and is thus officially a Dark Sky Park, which is an area with extraordinary starry nights, where the darkness is so dense that you can see the night sky and the entire blanket of stars without any light pollution.
There are only a little more than 40 Dark Sky Parks in the world.
